iPhone app
Quiet Total Joint Recovery
The app shows the medication plan Dr. Olsen prescribed for your knee or hip replacement, one day at a time, and can remind you when doses are due. It works only with the App Code sheet the office sends you — in your pre-operative packet and by email: scan the code once, and your plan is on your phone.

How it works
- Install the app from the App Store using the button above.
- Find your App Code sheet — a square code that holds your personal medication plan. It is in the pre-operative packet from the surgery scheduler, and the same sheet is emailed to you. In the app, tap Scan My Code and point the camera at the paper. If you only have the email, open it on a computer or another screen and scan from there. Keep the sheet; you may need to scan it again.
- Allow notifications when the app asks, so the reminders can reach you.
From the day you scan your code the app shows the whole plan, including what to do before surgery: today's doses with a box to tick, the six-week schedule, why each medication is on your plan, the protein plan, Diosmin for knee patients, weekly step limits, and answers to the questions patients ask most. On the day of surgery you can also take home printed handouts that cover everything the app does.

Support
No iPhone? The app runs only on iPhone (iOS 17 or newer); an Android version is not available yet. The printed handouts cover everything the app does, so nothing is missed. A family member or caregiver who helps with your medications may install the app on their iPhone and scan your code instead.
Questions about your medications or your recovery: call the office at 952-831-8742. The app is a companion to your printed sheets, not a substitute for the office.
The code will not scan or paste: make sure you copied the whole code, starting with QKP1:, with nothing added or removed. If it still fails, call the office and ask for a new sheet.
Your medications changed: the app does not update on its own. The office sends you a new sheet with a new code; scanning it replaces the old plan.
Privacy
Everything the app knows stays on your iPhone. It has no account and no internet connection, and it sends nothing to anyone. Read the full privacy policy.
